Led by Big Maya’s Jerk and Maya's Club, in partnership with The Rainbow Centre, St. Cecilia's Care Group, Barovliff Big Local, and other community supporters, this event has become a cherished tradition built on kindness and togetherness.

This year, we are excited to announce a significant expansion. For the first time, we will be launching a brand-new Christmas Dinner in Eastfield. This expansion allows us to reach even more families, individuals, and elders who deserve a joyful Christmas Day.

Both venues will offer a free and welcoming Christmas meal for anyone in need of warmth, support, or companionship. And this year, we are taking a big step forward.

For the first time, we are launching a brand-new Christmas Dinner in Eastfield — and we couldn’t be more excited. Expanding into a second location means we can reach even more families, individuals, and elders who deserve a joyful Christmas Day.

What We Achieved Last Year

Last Christmas was a powerful reminder of what community truly means. Thanks to the incredible generosity and support from so many of you, our Christmas Dinner at the Methodist Church was a beautiful success.

Because of your kindness — through donations, meal-for-meal vouchers, and countless acts of support — we were able to:

  • Serve 62 hot meals on Christmas Day

  • Distribute 32 food parcels to individuals and families in need

It was genuinely heartwarming to see people from all walks of life come together to share comfort, connection, and the true spirit of the season.

A huge thank-you to our amazing volunteers who gave their time, energy, and hearts to make the day unforgettable.
And a special appreciation to the Rainbow Centre for their ongoing partnership and support — we couldn’t do this without you.

Last year was a testament to what we can achieve together, and this year we’re dreaming even bigger. With the launch of our new Eastfield Christmas Dinner and the continued growth of our Scarborough event, we are committed to making sure no one spends Christmas alone.

Thank you to everyone who stood with us, supported us, and helped us bring joy to our community.
We couldn’t have done it without you — and we can’t wait to do it again.
